The online Crafts Fair sold out! After 42 years, we couldn't bear the thought of not helping the children in Ukiah create meaningful Christmas gifts for their family and friends, so we are made 4 different craft kits available, and people snapped them up! We look forward to next year, and gathering again in the Social Hall. This year we missed you and the children, the joyous sounds in the Social Hall, the Carols sung by Steve Hahm, Debra's popular burrito bar with home-made cookies, and the chance to see friends. (We encourage you to play some carols while crafting and find ways to help others.) But in this time of Covid, we can still keep each other safe while preserving the traditions that are important in our community. - Merry Christmas! |
For the previous 42 years, Ukiah United Methodist Church, with help from dozens of volunteers from the wider community, and led by a committee made up of church and community members, has provided the Children's Christmas Crafts Fair as a ministry to area children. The child-like prices go to cover the costs of the materials which volunteers gather year-round. If you'd like to be involved, please contact us. |
