Hello friends,
It's the second day of summer, and it really feels like summer. It should be perfect weather for our interfaith youth group pool party on Saturday. Today is the last day to RSVP for the gathering. Let me know if your youth in junior high or high school wants to come. We have 10 students signed up so far. We will be gathering at the Yokayo Swim and Racquet Club from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday the 25th. Let me know if you need more information.
This Sunday is the beginning of our new worship series, A Future with Hope. It is also the last Sunday of the month, so bring in your food bank donations. TerraCycle plastic collection will be happening in the narthex (sanctuary entryway) as well.
Archery will meet at Low Gap in the parking lot at 6:30pm Monday June 27. Please RSVP to Bethany Kerr if you plan to be there.
We are in need of two volunteers to help with food distribution this Saturday from 11:00 to 12:10 at the church. Please let me know if you can help.
Keep being most excellent to each other. (Yes, that was a Bill and Ted reference for those of you who know, but it's fitting for this excellent group.)
Have a blessed week.
Shalom,
Pastor Michele

Would you, or someone you know,
benefit from a "porch visit"?

Please let us know. And let us know, also, if you would like to visit others. A listening ear and a compassionate heart are all you'll need. You can also choose to join with other visitors for prayer and mutual support.

Pastor Michele and Debbie, our Office Manager, are working remotely, coming in to meet people at times, and checking incoming Voice/E-mail.

Thanks to all who made masks for use at the local hospital. Ukiah Valley Medical Center thanks churches and groups, saying they have enough to provide people who arrive needing one. We made over 500 masks as an extended community! Special thanks goes out to many friends of UUMC for joining the effort. Please keep checking with us for future opportunities to join together in service efforts.
